Mike Effron, owner and director of M Spa, a 25 year veteran of the investment management world, has strategically partnered with South Florida’s most sought after Facial Plastic surgeon, Dr. Melyssa Hancock, and together they built M Spa. Dr. Melyssa Hancock is a Board Certied and Fellowship Trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. “I just knew I wanted to be involved in this space,” Mike said and after multiple conversations with Dr. Hancock, and it was clear to each of them that they shared a similar vision as to what the South Florida Aesthetic world needed. A high-end luxury medical spa with a strong culture of compliance, built on patient advocacy and functional wellness. It was a perfect business match because they both strive for the highest standard of care and compliance. Mike shared, “many spas have become transactional in nature, focusing on making a sale and not truly understanding WHY each and every patient has come to visit. We understand that each client is unique and no matter which season of life they may be walking through they have a story to tell and everyone at M Spa is eager to listen, truly understand, educate and treat. Spa Director Emily Rodriguez is a licensed Aesthetician and Laser Technician. She is a winning combination of knowledge, sophistication, care and drive. Emily explained the origin of the name M Spa. She said it is based on 3 “pillars”: Medical-Mindful-and-Modern. She added, “The Mindful aspect sets our spa apart. We are intentional with our patients and focus on WHY they are here, whether celebrating a wedding, dealing with the mental pain of a funeral or a physical concern such as hair loss.
