Do you know how to turn a plain yard or unsightly patio area into something spectacular? Call the experts at Evergreen Tech Landscaping and once you see the astounding “before and after” photos, you’ll be swayed to take action. Alejandro and his 2 crews use their landscaping and landscape lighting expertise to use turf and artificial grass as well as unique outside lighting to do absolute magic to both the outside and inside of a home. The exquisite effects of outside lighting simply cannot be underestimated to add value and appeal to a home. For example, Alejandro Vethencourt of Evergreen Tech Landscaping, has photos of a 4,000 sq. ft. home in which he strategically placed white lights in the ground to beam upward at trees, plants and sculptures, and surrounding a pool area for glimmering effects. He also designed the addition of multi-colored lights along a fence that altogether created a spectacular backyard entertainment area. He used LED lights, another touch, to create a lot of lighting at a lower cost.
Alejandro has a degree as an agronomist which is also an agriculturalist or a professional in the science, practice and management of agriculture. To complement his years of experience, Alejandro added more formal education by studying to become a hydraulic engineer. This is a branch of civil engineering that deals with the use and control of flowing water. His knowledge and expertise in studying irrigation, water calculations, pressure and meters has taken him far above the level of simple farming. It was a natural move for Alejandro to open his landscaping company, which he said he “named Evergreen since that is the goal: to get and keep everything green.” His business focuses mainly on many aspects of outdoor living: new installations, creative designs and specific projects using artificial grass.
Though most work is done outside doing landscapes, Alejandro also creates striking indoor wallscapes. You may have seen “green walls’ in some popular restaurants such as Lemongrass in Boca Raton. These are entire walls that are covered with natural-looking greenery and often some floral touches for more color. It’s a unique way to bring the beauty of the outdoors inside to a home, office or restaurant. There are two types of green walls, live and artificial. The artificial walls offer the advantage of not having to be watered and maintained. Alejandro also created a gorgeous “flower ceiling” that enhances a room with the look of pretty pink cherry blossoms overhead. In “Eat District” restaurant, also in Boca Raton, Alejandro installed dramatic hanging greens from the ceiling that are exquisite to see. They receive endless “oohs and ahhs” from new customers who have not seen it.
Alejandro praises the ease of maintenance of artificial grass and Astroturf, citing the Astrodome in Houston as the original. “These lawns don’t require mowing, watering or pest control,” he said and they maintain their rich, green look without any burn out from the hot Florida sun. They may cost more to install but the customer makes the extra money back within 7 years. In addition to work on front and back yards, he keeps very busy here with installations at putting greens, turf on balconies and areas surrounding swimming pools. He has 2 crews, each with 4 men that come from varied countries such as Brazil, Cuba, Guatemala, and of course, Venezuela and America.
Seeing Alejandro’s collection of his completed work is like taking a breathtaking photo tour of the famous Gardens of Versailles in France. He said, “Our main focus is the high quality and total satisfaction of our customers. We always get rave reviews.”
